Applications are invited in the prescribed format from Indian Nationals for the post of Chairperson, Arunachal Pradesh Allied and Healthcare Council, as specified under Section 22(3) of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021, with the following details: Eligibility: The Chairperson must be a person of outstanding ability, proven administrative capacity, and integrity. They should possess a post-graduate degree in any profession recognized in the category of allied and healthcare sciences from any University and have at least twenty-five years of experience in the field of allied and healthcare sciences, including at least ten years in a leadership role in allied and healthcare professions. [As per recognized categories specified in the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (Act no. 14 of 2021)]. Pay Scale: If the Chairperson is appointed from Central/State Government on deputation basis, they will be entitled to the pay matrix level 14 (Rs. 144200-218200). Alternatively, a consolidated fixed salary of Rs. 2,00,000/- plus HRA will be provided. In the case of a retired person joining as Chairperson, they will receive their last drawn pay minus pension. Tenure: The Chairperson of the Council shall hold office for a term not exceeding two years from the date they assume office and shall be eligible for re-nomination for a maximum of two terms.
